Welcome to a new 99 runecrafting guide! I wanted to create this because the old one has missing pictures and also is missing multiple methods.

You can first buy you essence from general store at home!

You can also buy rune pouches from bob at home, the levels for the pouches go like this:

Small: level 1

Medium: level 25

Large: level 50

Giant: level 75

NOTE: if you are an iron man these will be found by talking to adam and looking into his Miscellaneous shop.

 

There are multiple ways to access the abyss depending on what you have donation wise or skill wise:

Way 1: teleport to edge and run to the Mage of zamorak in the wildy

Way 2: If you have access to the donor zone (::dz) then you can talk to the Mage of zamorak in the bank

Way 3: If you have access to sponsor zone (::sz) then you can use mage next to bank

Way 4: If you have Contributor donor status (::cz) you can talk to the mage inside the bank

Way 5: The max cape has a right click teleport option to go straight to the abyss (for people going for 500m)

 

- Start off you should do air runes 1-27

27-35 Craft cosmic runes 

OR (Use ::hall and use the fairy ring to travel to the new updated area called Zanaris)

35-44 craft chaos runes

44-54 Craft Nature runes

54-65 Craft law runes

65-77 craft death runes

77-92 Craft blood runes

92-99 Craft Soul runes

OPTION 1: If you has super donor status you can access an astral altar which you can use from level 87-99

OPTION 2: If you have Legendary donor status or Elite donor status or you can access an soul altars which you can use from 92-99

 

NOTE: after getting 99 runecrafting you can equip the runecrafting cape which allows you to get double the runes when worn.
