Basic Minigame Guide

Recommended Posts

All of the following minigames can be accessed by clicking the "Minigames teleport" in the magic tab.

Barrows:

To get there: Minigames teleport > Barrows.

Difficulty: Easy

Gear setup: Unimportant, so long as you have overheads you can use just about any equipment and be successful, your best melee gear is best though.

It's the same as old school runescape barrows, you need a spade which can be picked up at the barrows teleport.

Specific locations:

You should get around 1 barrows item per chest, don't worry if you don't though.

Remember to save up entire sets if you're trying to do this for money, individual pieces sell for 780k but full sets sell for 10m to the general store. (To make sets you just need to use one of the items on another with the entire set (unnoted) in your inventory.

Primary Reward: Barrows armor pieces

Warriors Guild:

The warriors guild is incredibly simple. To get to the guild, you just need to click "Minigame teleport" and then "Warriors Guild"

You do not need tokens of any kind and they always drop dragon defenders, no need to bring armor sets.

Gear and stats aren't very important, they are very weak, though some food or overheads will make it much more afk.

You should expect a defender within 1-200 kills or so.

Primary Reward: Dragon Defender

Inferno:

Difficulty: Hard.

Length: Around 1 to 2 hours for a successful run.

Requirements: 1 fire cape per inferno attempt.

Gear setup: You should bring your best melee or range gear, I prefer range because it's much easier to protect from two combat styles.

How to get there:

Minigame Teleport > Inferno > Run north to "TzHaar-Mej-Dir" and talk to it to enter.

Specifics: The inferno minigame is comprised of 50 long waves with 1 jad and some minions, the most difficult part of the minigame is focusing for about an hour straight without missing a prayer flick or two.

What you should know: If you log out or are logged out for any reason during the minigame, you will log back in outside of the minigame and won't regain your cape. You should not attempt this minigame before an update or with an unstable connection.

Inventory setup: This is mostly dependent on the gear you took; I would recommend mostly Super prayer potions with a few garden pies and super ranging potions (or overloads).

To practice: If you really are unsure about your ability, you should try the normal fight caves a few times to make sure you're confident in your ability to prayer flick the boss.

Primary Reward: 1 Inferno cape

Fight Caves:

To get there: Minigame Teleport > Fight caves > Enter cave entrance to the south.

Difficulty: Easy

Inventory setup: Mostly prayer potions with some ranging potions and just about any food you have.

Unlike the inferno caves, the fight caves is only 15 waves long and with only one Jad fight.

Strategy: This minigame is relatively simple, kill all the monsters for the first waves until jad comes. When jad spawns stay outside of his melee range and pray mage when he stands on his hind legs and range when he stomps on the ground.

Primary Reward: 1 Fire cape

Thieves Paradise:

Requirements: 20 Thieving (60 or 80+ highly recommended)

To get there: Minigame Teleport > Next page > Thieves paradise

Chest locations and requirements/rewards:

South-East: Level 20 | 250 experience per loot | Bronze Key worth 25 points

South-West: Level 40 | 2,875 experience per loot | Iron Key worth 50 points

North-West: Level 60 | 4,375 experience per loot | Steel Key worth 75 points

North-East: Level 80 | 7,625 experience per loot | Silver key worth 100 points

Keep in mind that if you're looting the level 80 chest there's a chance you could be teleported to barrelchest. He is absolutely worth fighting as he always drops 5 silver keys (500 points) and has a chance of dropping barrelchest anchor which can be sold to the general store for a decent amount of money. (Remember to take some prayer potions and food, he can disable your overheads and hits hard)

To turn your keys in for points, just teleport to theives paradise and look to the west, there should be a Magic chest there, if you click on it with keys in your inventory, you'll receive points.

To use your points: Speak to Johanhus Ulsbrecht and click trade.

You can view your current points in your quest tab ("Thief points" Remember to hit the refresh tab next to the achievements icon for an accurate count.)

The level 80 chest has a chance to teleport you to the Barrelchest boss.

You can safespot it using this method:

(Thank you @Boatz for letting me know about this)
