Click here to go to the NPC Locations Slayer Guide Starting Slayer To start Slayer, speak to Vannaka at home. When you talk to him, ask for a task and choose the difficultly on what you think you can handle. I'll speak about the NPCs for each difficulty later on. If you decide to reset a task because it's too hard, it will cost 250k until you have a Slayer Reset Form. When you have a task, you can check your progress in your quest tab. When your task ends, you get Slayer Points and you can get another task from Vannaka. Slayer Shop To find the Slayer Shop, right click Vannaka and trade him. Top row: The Golden Keys (1-7) are used for Oak, Teak, Mahogany, and Magic Chests. Use them on the respective chest with the same number to use them. The Crystal Key is used on Crystal Chests to obtain a random reward. The Mystery Box is another random reward but has chances to give expensive rewards. You also get 100 Pug Points for each one opened. Middle row: Ring of Wealth gives a x2 drop rate bonus which is a nice starter ring until Ring of Wealth (i) and above. Regular Ring of Wealths are craftable if you do not want to buy it. Barrows Gloves are an all-around good pair of gloves for each combat style, also obtainable from Crystal Key chest and Mystery Boxes. The Fighter Torso is a decent melee item that has the strength bonus of a Bandos Chestplate, but doesn't have as many defensive stats. This is also obtainable from Mystery Boxes. The Slayer Helmet (i) is one of the best helmets in-game when you are on a slayer task. It provides extra damage and accuracy for every style while attacking your slayer target. You can also make your own by killing men for a Spiny Helmet, Nosepeg, Earmuffs, and a Facemask. Then kill Cave Horrors for a Black Mask and buy enchanted gem from General Store. Combine all of these to make a slayer helmet. $5 Bond adds $5 total to your account and gives 500 Donator Points. Most commonly bought over everything else. Slayer Reset Form gives you infinite slayer task resets at no cost, and gives the ability to obtain boss tasks. This should be your first priority to buy from the slayer shop. Easy, Medium, Hard Clues. If you need to open clues desperately, you can buy from the slayer shop to either open or make into masters. Third row: Slayer Title gives you the prefix "Slayer" to your name. This title will be required for Completionist Cape. Bonecrusher crushes all bones from NPCs you kill at half xp and chance at the prayer pet as long as it's in your inventory. Bookcase gives you a random skilling tome that gives you around 100k XP in that skill. It also has a chance to give you a Large Ancient Gear which gives invention XP when used. What should I buy first? You should absolutely to go for the Slayer Reset Form first because it allows you to choose your slayer tasks and unlocks boss tasks. If you are not going to make your own Slayer Helmet, buying one next is a good idea for your slayer tasks. After that, $5 bonds usually are the best option as it allows you to either sell them for 150-200m or to use the bonds yourself and claim the $5 to your account which gives 500 Donator Points. You could also use the 500 Donator Points on a Membership to gain another $5 to your account which is $10 total every 750 slayer points. This is probably one of the easiest ways to upgrade your Donator Rank. Special Occurrences If you wear a Slayer Cape while your last NPC dies, you will get a Jumbo Task under your feet which is a task of a random 99 NPCs hard task and at the end, you will get a 50 Slayer Point reward. You can have many of these at once if you want to save them. At random, you will receive a Special Task which is certain amount of any Raids Boss, Mammoths, Revenants, Inferno Jad, Regular Jad, and Barrow chests. Completing these will give you 25 Slayer Points. You can have many of these as well. Superiors are a bigger monster of the certain one you are killing. They have a 1 in 100 chance of spawning and can drop the Eternal Ring (Gives +15 slayer points at end of task), Bonecrusher, Imbued Heart (116 magic boost), and a Medium Cashbag which gives 1-100m coins If there is anything I should add to these either of these 2 posts, please pm me what you would like. 3 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
