" While killing Tekton last night, someone showed me a way to get it to unaggro you and make the kills basically AFK and take 0 damage. They said everyone did it, even Jam... but to me that is obvious bug abuse and I will not kill Tekton that way. Why are some obvious bug abuses ignored?

the thing with this is, if you add easy mechanics it doesn't really change anything. but if you add difficult mechanics you'll piss a bunch of people off. If there was a happy middle ground then I would support this!

I'm not doing this for myself. I'm doing it for others and for the sake of the community. Whether anyone was ever gonna hurt themselves over this specific comment of "KYS" is not the point. The point is that as human beings we shouldn't be telling each other to go kill ourselves. Anyone that seems to have an issue with this thread cusses a lot in their reply and calls the people snowflakes or weak, but I personally believe the weak people in this world are the people that don't seem to want to do anything about it and want to continue the toxic train that the server has been headed on. I do however appreciate you posting saying that If "I personally cant handle it and easily get insulted that I should leave." because that clearly shows you haven't even fully read everything. I never say this is for me or because of something that happened to me. I clearly stated its because I've seen so many examples of how cyber bullying can go wrong that I felt we should start a discussion on the topic of "KYS." I appreciate all the feedback but everyone that seems to be against it gets really upset and honestly seems to have some kind of emotional ignorance and lacks any sort of empathy for others. I'm honestly saddened by how little some people care about others.

You have absolutely no insight into how others can feel or potentially feel. What your saying is based on your opinion. You feel like people aren't weak enough to do something just because of some cyber bullying but yet people are. Open your mind up to more than just what you experience yourself.

What I think your not understanding is that just because you think that these options are so obvious and I've even said b4 that there are things you can do to prevent it like this great list you've given. BUT some people don't realize this. Not everyone is as mentally strong as you Sodapop. Some people struggle with real issues mentally and don't get the help they need or WONT get the help they need. As for you offering to give your bank to me. I never stated there were examples of people killing themselves over the specific "KYS" comment. I stated that there were instances of "People killing themselves over videogames." You don't owe me your bank for me clarifying that but just please take this topic seriously and be sure to read thoroughly.

Yet there are literally thousands of examples of people killing themselves over videogames...And I've personally dealt with someone cutting their wrists and screaming over discord just because someone was harassing them in a private server. While I agree there are simple steps that player could have done to avoid the player and also dealt with the situation better as a whole, the issue is that some people don't have proper coping capabilities to just shrug it off like me or you.

Youre kind of confirming my point. "Nothing is gonna stop them" so why should we allow players to push people to that point? On a side note, you say "they need help" I believe the people telling other to "KYS" need MORE help. Thanks for the input though! we need to see both sides of the story!

Hello. Recently I've noticed a lot of players getting upset about one thing or another and resorting to telling the opposite player or players to "KYS". My opinion...This should be an instant 24 hour mute for the offender. If done multiple times punishment increases. While I wish we could joke like this, we simply can't. In todays society you never know what someone could do. A joking "KYS" is one thing, but directing towards someone with hateful intent is just absurd. I've always been on the curious about why Jagex doesn't do more about it as they've had their own issues with this problem. But I don't see why Revival couldn't be the place to make a change. This is of course open for discussion from everyone so if you have an intelligent thought on this topic please reply below! I'd like to see everyones input! Diversity on this topic is important.
